    Designed 1936 for the Isokon Furniture Company, this set manufactured c. 1968 as part of a licenced edition by John Alan Designs

    Cream-white painted plywood

    The Isokon Nesting Tables were originally manufactured by the Isokon Furniture Company from 1936 to c. 1939. A small series were then produced under licence in the 1960s in relatively small numbers. Please note, the original pre-war versions were only produced in birch plywood, and should normally have a light ‘Venesta’ stamp to the underside. All the other ‘vintage’ versions, including this white version, and other plywood versions, were produced post-war c. 1960s. These post-war versions were produced in close collaboration with Jack Pritchard, the founder of the Isokon Furniture Company.
